My name is Eduardo. By day, I lead an education program; by night, I build things in AWS and GCP and learn everything I can about cloud infrastructure and machine learning. This site is itself one of those projects, built and deployed using the cloud tools below.
The Cloud Resume Challenge - AWS Version
This website was deployed using AWS. The site uses CloudFront for HTTPs traffic and Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway to provide the site with a visitor count. The Cloud Resume Challenge - GCP Version
Decommissioned after completing the challenge, to manage ongoing cloud costs. My Google Cloud project page was deployed as a static website using a GCP storage bucket. The site uses Network Load Balancing for HTTPs traffic and Cloud Functions, Firestore, and API Gateway to provide the site with a visitor count. Terraform was used for IaC. An app that converts a URL to a QR Code. The app has three components: frontend, API and storage. The frontend and API are hosted in containers utilizing AWS EKS. An S3 bucket provides storage for the generated QR codes. Tools used include Docker and AWS (ECR, EKS, EC2, S3).
A Bash script that creates a GCP storage bucket and uploads files to that bucket. The script is run on the user's device and uses the Google Cloud CLI.
Recognizing Handwritten Images
Kaggle competition using the famous MNIST dataset. The goal is to correctly identify digits from a dataset of tens of thousands of handwritten images. My model achieved 96% accuracy using deep learning tools.
